Salon & Spa Covid Safety Measures

Millennium has put in place preventative measures which go above the minimum sanitization requirements to reduce the spread of COVID-19; however, please know that you will be entering at your own risk.

In order to keep us all safe, please adhere to the following as we cautiously reopen:

When in doubt, reschedule: We are urging any client who may feel ill, experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, or may have been exposed within the last 14 days to simply call us and reschedule your appointment. 

Health Check: We will be taking the temperature of each staff member at the beginning of their shift. We also will be taking each client’s temperature and asking basic health questions.

Wear a Mask: Every staff member will be wearing a mask and clients must do the same. Some staff members will be wearing additional safety gear. (Mask are available for purchase or complementary with services of $90 or more.)

Increased Sanitization: ALL guests will sanitize upon entering Millennium. We are asking guests not to wear gloves which offers a false sense of protection. We have increased accessibility to hand sanitizer and added touchless dispensers. Staff will be disinfecting at increased intervals.

No Waiting: We are limiting waiting inside. Please wait inside your vehicle prior to your appointment time. We can call or text you when your provider is available. No extra guests are allowed to wait in the building. 

Limiting Touchpoints: We will be continuing curbside pickup for those without service appointments and temporarily discontinuing use of testers of any kind and ask that staff get any retails products for you. Initially we are trying to limit cash payments, please plan accordingly. We are also utilizing touch-free payments.

Quiet Zones: We have added Quiet Zones to Millennium to lessen the spread of viruses and bacteria such our shampoo area. Instead of talking, we encourage to sit back and enjoy your experience.

Dear Valued Clients,

As you may have watched or heard, Governor Ducey has extended the closure of salons and spas through May 15th. He did say that he will be working with our industry to take additional measures to keep everyone safe as we reopen. We believe we will be prepared for this, but we will monitor and adjust accordingly. The health and well-being of our clients and employees is our top priority.

Once we receive word that your safety will be in no way compromised by opening and we are legally allowed to open, we will begin rescheduling all of our displaced appointments and calling all that have reached out via phone and email. We miss you and cannot wait to be back with a renewed and grateful purpose.

Dear Valued Clients,

At Millennium, the health and well-being of our clients and employees is our top priority. In consideration of the most recent guidance from Federal, State, and local public health officials and in the interest of the welfare of our guests and community, we have made the difficult decision to close our doors to all business activity effective immediately. 

Please know we do not take these actions lightly and will continue to put your interests first. Once we receive word from authorities that your safety will be in no way compromised by opening, we will be back in full force and with renewed purpose to provide the experience you have come to enjoy and expect from us.

Dear Valued Clients

As of today, Millennium remains open; however, we are monitoring the situation with the coronavirus (COVID-19) closely. Yesterday, the White House issued guidelines to limit groups to 10 or less and we are making accommodations to support these recommendations. If the spread of the virus mandates further social distancing, we may need to make additional adjustments and will communicate as soon as possible. The health and well-being of our clients, employees, and community continues to be our top priority.

Previous safety efforts:

  • Regularly disinfecting the salon and spa, including chairs, stations, treatment rooms, door handles, displays, and counters with hospital-grade disinfectants.
  • Increasing accessibility to hand sanitizer for clients and employees.
  • Utilizing Thieves essential oil in high traffic areas which has antiviral, antimicrobial, and immune system boosting properties. 
  • Ensuring employees have information to stay healthy or stay home if they are feeling unwell.

Additional precautions:

  • Staggering work hours/days for staff
  • Distancing or limiting appointments to minimize waiting time
  • Halting additional beverage and snacks, except water
  • Increasing disinfecting intervals 
  • Limiting guests in waiting room
  • Answering and returning calls in the back office to reduce time at the front desk

What can you do:

Please stay home and reschedule if you are feeling sick. We will do our best to work you back in to our schedule as soon as possible, once you are feeling better. Limit waiting time by arriving on time.
